The castle of Châlucet is located in Saint-Jean-Ligoure in the Haute-Vienne area, approximately 10 km south of Limoges.
Built on a rocky headland, it overlooks the confluence of the Briance and the Ligoure.

Getting there:


  • From Limoges: take the A20 – (the Occitane road), exit 39 heading towards "Saint-Priest-Ligoure/Saint-Paul/Saint-Hilaire-Bonneval"
  • From Brive-la-Gaillarde: take the A20 – (the Occitane road), exit 40 heading towards "Pierre-Buffière/Saint-Priest-Ligoure/Nexon"
